TRT – putting a wide range of topics under the spotlight
Thames Rivers Trust has a long history of bringing together organisations that work across the Thames catchment and is in a unique position to see and hear the concerns that are raised by environmental stakeholders and passionate supporters who work both professionally and voluntarily striving to achieve our vision for a vibrant and healthy Thames River Basin.
Mutual understandings of the issues that face our river systems is vital if we are to enable true collaborative working. We are therefore pleased in 2023 to begin delivering our ‘Spotlight Sessions’.
Our first Spotlight Session was held in April and focused on the water industry, how it is regulated, governed and funded. The event had a local perspective on Thames Water and was chaired by Adam Vaughan, Environment Editor at The Times.
