We are proud to launch the Thames Rivers Trust Peter Spillett Award. The award is in memory of Peter Spillett, a Trustee of TRT for more than 10 years who cared passionately about improving the Thames rivers and the wildlife that they sustain.
The award is awarded annually to an outstanding individual who works or volunteers with a Rivers Trust or another NGO delivering projects for the environmental good of rivers in the Thames catchment.

Aim of the award?
To give special recognition to a deserving individual, raise the profile of their achievement/s, their organisation and rivers in the catchment.
Who can be nominated?
The individual can be an outstanding member of staff or volunteer, who has delivered an exceptional project or has gone above and beyond with their commitment to improve rivers or a river’s health.
Deadline
Open from 1st April 2023 and closes 31st October 2023.
How to enter?
Simply fill out this online application form. The form has no saving mechanism, so needs to be populated in one go.

Winners to be announced by 31st March each year

Entries must be for nominees delivering projects or environmental good for rivers in the Thames catchment in the last 12 months

The winner will be decided by our judging board and their decision will be final

The winner and the organisation they are associated with for the award will be used for publicity.
