Eely Riverbank Wildlife Walk at Grattons Park with SERT

10:00 am – 12:00 pm

Join South East Rivers Trust on the banks of the Gatwick Stream (a tributary of the River Mole) as it flows though Grattons Park.  Explore the fantastic habitats created here through restoration and re-naturalisation of the river, as well as discovering the incredible story of the European eel and other the wildlife that lives in and by the stream.

You’ll also get the opportunity to get up close and personal with some of the rivers smallest inhabitants by collecting an invertebrate sample from the stream. An exciting and FREE event for the whole family.

BOOKING IS ESSENTIAL AS SPACES ARE LIMITED!

Please email Mole@southeastriverstrust.org to reserve your spot and state this date.

This walk is part of  our Thames Catchment Community Eels Project.

This project is funded by the government’s Green Recovery Challenge Fund. The fund is being delivered by The National Lottery Heritage Fund in partnership with Natural England and the Environment Agency.
